Norman Bromley Partnership were appointed as lead consultant to design and project manage the upgrade of 4 No operating theatres together with the associated anaesthetic areas.  The scheme included the replacement of all of the engineering services including air handling / chilling plant.

Norman Bromley Partnership employed the services of an architect and structural engineer and were responsible for the complete project management of the scheme. Other projects completed on the site include:- 

  • Canadian Wing - New build ward extension and refurbishment of the existing ward.
  • New Main Switchboard and Generator - Replacement of the sites main switchboard along with a new sub-station and replacement of the sites standby generator.  To maintain the services to the Hospital the works included the provision of temporary generators and temporary connections.
  • New Day Surgery Block - Provision of a new modular build day surgery unit including two operating theatres.
  • Other modular build projects completed on the site include a theatre block for hand trauma, paediatric theatres, maxillo facial unit and an outpatients building.
